Board of Directors
Choir members elect MFC's Board of Directors to govern the choir's affairs. Directors are elected for two-year terms, with elections held annually, usually in May. Elections for President, Treasurer and Membership Director are held in odd years; elections for Vice President, Secretary and Publicity Director are held in even years.

Joe Chan, President
The President of the Mississauga Festival Choir is the lead volunteer and spokesperson for the Choir. Elected by the membership of the Choir at an Annual General Meeting the President is tasked with ensuring the Choir functions effectively meeting its artistic, financial and community goals. Scott Mick, Vice President
Scott is a middle school teacher in Mississauga. He is the key contact and relationship manager for Choir venues and oversees event activities such as ticket sales and co-ordination of the Choir event requirements. Contact Scott |
Cindy Cyr, Past President
The past president acts as an advisor to the president and the board. Cindy chairs the partnership committee which is responsible for soliciting sponsorships and donations from businesses and individuals. Contact Cindy |
Wendy Chant, Treasurer
The Treasurer has signing authority for financial and legal purposes, ensures audited financial statements are presented to the board annually, manages all financial administrative matters and maintains financial records according to General Accepted Accounting Principles. Sue Stenton, Secretary
The secretary prepares and maintains minutes and records for all Board meetings, acts as a custodian of all agendas and minutes, and has signing authority for financial and legal purposes. Contact Sue |
Kristan Koehle, Fundraising
The Fundraising Director of the Mississauga Festival Choir works with the Board, members and volunteers to create a consistent revenue stream for the choir through grants, special promotions and activities, sponsorships, advertising and related activities. Elected by the majority of members in attendance at a General Meeting of the Choir, the Fundraising Director may be either a full or Associate member of the Choir as set out in the Constitution.
